Horse Hair Vase

The Vase is apx. 7.5" x 5.5". Made in Mexico and the fine dark lines in these pots are created during firing by throwing horsehair on the pottery when it reaches 1600 degrees. The horsehair burns when it touches the hot pottery, leaving a carbon stain that makes a beautiful and unique one-of-a-kind pattern on each piece. These are Hand etched, and hand painted.
